The Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) is pleased to award $1000 to one of its members pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate nursing degree. The purpose of this scholarship is to support nursing education for AAPINA members and thus, enhance the contribution of our membership in achieving AAPINA's core mission. This is to announce that the Official Journal of the Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA) will be published by Sage Publications, Inc., titled Asian/Pacific Island Nursing Journal, a peer-reviewed open access journal with quarterly publications.
Deadline is January 15, 2015. Through a grant funded by the Okura Foundation we are seeking six mentors from members with expertise in psych-mental health nursing. and 12 fellows interested in studying mental health issues in Asian Pacific Islander communities.
